beautiful days in the Tannheim Valley...
Climbing in the Tannheimer Tal
High up on the wall – a unique adventure in nature
In the middle of the natural environment, in the middle of the wall. Concentrated only on yourself and your next grip, until you hook in and can relax for a bit: and then the views around you offer you the full beauty of the Tannheim mountains from the bird's eye view. Climbers can look forward to a lot in this part of the Alps that already enjoys an excellent reputation.
From boulder to multi-pitch climbing, from via ferrata to high ropes course: in the Tannheimer Tal every mountaineer will find what he or she wants; it doesn't matter if you take your first attempts or want to go on a full-day tour.

Climbing guides and brochures with particular tours are available directly in Tannheim. The region also offers excellent mountain bike tours, hiking routes and possibilities for paragliding.
Via ferratas and climbing crags
You are not yet a climbing pro but still want to taste the high alpine air and adrenaline? There are two possibilities: with a bit of sturdy-footedness some of the via ferratas are no problem at all and will lead you to gorgeous peaks via steep walls . The climbing forest in Nesselwängle is the second possibility and offers the sought-after adrenaline rush for families: here it's less about stamina and strength but more about a coordination and concentration training.
Ice climbing in winter
By the way, here you will also find two great ice climbing places in winter. Engelfall near Grän is perfect for first attempts on the ice. The longer of the two tours is up to 100 metres high. The second ice waterfall is located right on Lake Vilsalpsee and is a bit more challenging. With a height of 250 meters Blässefall is a true highlight for slightly more experienced climbers. Should you not have any ice climbing experiences then please do contact an experienced mountain guide.
