Spring awakening in the Tannheimer Tal
You will hardly find another place where you can experience spring in all its beauty like here around the 4-star Hotel Sägerhof: the Tannheimer Tal is a high valley at more than 1,100m and offers a unique symbiosis of Alpine grass, flora and fauna. Way more than 70 different kinds of Alpine grass can be found here, elsewhere you would only find about 10 to 20. So you can roughly imagine how this plays out in spring with all the different colours. In order to see it for yourself we recommend long walks and hikes on the first warm days of the year.
Spring hiking in Tyrol
This natural idyll in combination with the diverse mountain world is a perfect place for hikers. Do you prefer an easy and pram-friendly tour with the whole family or more a peak tour with rucksack and hiking pole – here you will find the perfect tour for your wishes. The themed hiking paths, like Schmugglerweg or the panoramic trail up Gamskopf, are especially popular. The many huts and alps offer wonderful places for rests in between or at the end of your tour. Most of them are open as soon as the lifts operate again.
Road racing in Tyrol

The Tour of Austria, the Tour of Bavaria and the Deutschland Tour (Tour of Germany) all run through here. And everyone who's ever been here knows exactly why: the mountains' flair is combined with pleasant altitudes in this region. More than 20 tours are available from your Hotel Sägerhof.
